Mission Statement:
To provide FREE information about how to start a business online with little to no capital and then present a stair-step system to establish a long-term, sustainable business to gain financial freedom.
Introduction
Hi, my name is Ava, and as someone who is averse to the rat race, I want to help YOU start your own business.
There are thousands of courses online created to help you do the same thing, but if you’ve been searching around for any length of time, you know that some of them are pricey.
If you’re new to the idea of online business, it’s hard to know what’s legit.
With a price tag of free, you can come in and see what I have to say without taking an unnecessary risk.
I don’t think you should have to mortgage your life to begin a journey toward financial freedom. I hope to save you some money by providing you with the basics free of charge.
What Sort of Credentials Do I Have?
I’ve got nothing official for you. If you’re the “credentials” sort of person, this might not be the place for you.
I have been a student (Yes, I’m still learning!) of Internet Marketing since 2006. I made my first money online writing articles for clients that I found via the Digital Point forums.
In 2014, I quit my full-time job monitoring commercial and residential alarms systems and came home to work for an established SEO firm. I haven’t looked back once.
So if you hate your job and you’d like to escape the prison that is the 9-to-5 lifestyle, then that’s what I’m here for.
I don’t have anything to sell to you.
I mean I do have things to sell, but I’m not doing any of that in this system. What I will do is use affiliate links where I can and you can support me at no extra cost to you if you buy services through my links.
For example, pretty early on, we’ll talk about creating a website. I’ll recommend my host and domain host to you with my affiliate links. If you purchase those services using my link, I will receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
Cool? Cool.
Part 1 – Establish a Means to Make Your Start-Up Money
It’s true, you have to spend money to make money…especially online. You can’t conduct commerce with no cash flow. Whether that’s as simple as acquiring a computer and Internet connection, it’s going to cost you.
To get started in online business, you need a stable income.
You need a job or other means of having/making money that sustains you and your family.
Approaching online business from a point of desperation will set you up for failure before you even begin.
If you’re in a position where you don’t need a lot of money to live, then it will be easier for you to get started quickly.
Here are some ideas to establish some cash flow:
- Get a job – I know, I know, this is what we’re trying to avoid, but you have to have a little start-up money.
- Sell stuff you’re not using – we all have crap laying around of value that we no longer use
- Provide a service – mow a yard, type up something, etc.
Secure a living. Then we’ll focus on creating a better life.
This will be harder for some than it is for others as it depends very much on your situation. Set your mind. Do it.
If you’ve got to clean toilets, it’s only temporary. We’ve all had our fair share of crap jobs.
There are infinite ways to make money these days. If you’re stumped, listen to the Candid Cashflow Podcast, that’s what it’s all about. If you’re still having trouble, comment below, and I’ll do my best to help you come up with some ideas.
How Much?
This is going to vary widely from person to person. You need a minimum of $20 to get a website online.
Part 2 – Choose Your Business
This sets the stage for everything after this.
Here’s where it can get complicated.
Let’s try to keep this as simple as possible.
- It should be something you are deeply interested in even to the point of being passionate.
- It should fit inside your skillset.
- There should be a market for it.
Once you establish a successful business, you also have the option to sell that business in the future, so it’s not like you have to do the same thing forever.
If online isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of room for you at the table. Anyone can clean a house, pressure wash a driveway, or mow lawns.
Everyone has skills. We all have value. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen people asking how they can work online with no skills.
You have skills of some sort. It’s a matter of maximizing your existing skills while learning new ones.
You will need to establish an online presence for any business you start at some point. We’ll cover that in Part 3.

- Establish some cash flow to ensure you can care for yourself and your family.
- Acquire a minimum of $20 so you can build a website.
- Choose your business. What do you want to do?
